Well, another Christmas has come and gone and I have got to say, that this has been one of the best Christmases I've had in some time. I mean, the actual date is generally pretty good going, but it's the stuff that leads up to and even right after the holiday that tends to screw things over and, likely overshadow the holiday itself.
This year was different however. Not only was the drama kept to a minimum, but things were generally pretty awesome all around. I was able to hang out with some old friends and family and things were generally positive all around. I must say that the whole thing has really lifted my spirits, which is something that I really needed considering how I had been feeling not too long ago, you know?
As far as presents and whatnot, I got pretty much anything I could want
which was a quiet, drama-less visit with friends and family, but outside of that I ended up getting some money from my grandmother and a friend of mine gifted me a copy of Skyrim over Steam.
I also received the pleasure of revealing to my family that I am a brony
and while they had no idea what that was, there was no flack about it after it was explained. Well, my sister gave me some hell, but I expected that. She was never really good at wrapping her head around the internet or my sorts of humor anyway.
So how about you guys? How was your Christmas/Yule/Hanukah/winter festival or holiday of choice?
