Demon of Iron and Violence

the last (and my favorite) of my recent drawings...this is why it is posted last...cause i likes it the best

i dont know what drew me to draw something like this...or why i threw out some of the designs like i did...but you know what? screw it! it looks great (to me at any rate).

i can honestly say that some of this inspiration came from Warhammer 40K with the Chaos Obliterators...Chaos Marines who, after submitting to a technovirus, are more machine and demon than anything else. they sprout weapons of all sorts from their very bodies. really creepy, really cool...and REALLY nasty if you know how to use them

a few things i really like about this one is the head. just the whole thing is both creepy and cool and...yeah. oh, as an FYI, after the head fires, he pukes out the shell. where the shell (hell the whole dammed round for that matter) comes from is irrelivent. why? because its a frikkin demon!
i think i did a good job with showing the mixing and amalgamation of flesh and metal....tubes widing into the flesh to become spider-veins and whatnot... oh, and that sword. yeah, that is a varient on a typical chainsword in that the blade goes ALL the way around, even into (and through) the pommel and grip. and yes, the blades are supposed to be all wrenched and snaggletoothed. why? cause that makes the squichys squeal really good and makes blood go EVERYWHERE!!!
